Trainer Friends:
Let’s start with the outstanding news: We located Doris and she made it through her third surgery much better than the doctor expected…so everyone’s prayers are already working!!. While thanks are in order for everyone’s efforts thus far, there are LOTS more prayers and warm, loving, healing thoughts needed, so keep them coming.
To be clear, this is a serious bacterial infection Doris has. To be even clearer, I am absolutely certain that the bacteria is NO match for Doris and all of the phenomenal loving, healing energy being sent her by her friends all around the world. I provide the following details only so every knows they need to bring out their big gun prayers (Doris would love the military analogy J!). Here is the Wikipedia reference for the flesh eating bacteria: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necrotizing_fasciitis <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necrotizing_fasciitis>
To add to the exciting opportunity facing Doris and all us supporting her, apparently her doctor didn’t do particularly well in either his bedside manner or positive thinking classes in med school…in fact he may have skipped those classes completely, since apparently he told her yesterday that most people die within 36 hours of contracting this bacteria. If she lived, the doctor indicated that he may have to amputate her foot, which apparently he’s told her is still a possibility. Yikes…with that kind of approach I’m thinking he may have gone to the wrong classes altogether! So in addition to the wonderful suggestions Heidi made for positive, powerful and uplifting verbal and visualizing thoughts and prayers for Doris, I suggest we send similar ones to her doctor and all those helping her in the hospital. With all of our amazing visualizing and healing horsepower, I’m thinking in addition to helping Doris quickly and completely heal, we might as well assist the doctor in getting extra credit in bedside manner and positive thinking J!
If anyone had any doubts about the universe looking out for Doris, it just so happens Brenda was flying back from Dubai last night/early this morning with a 6+ hour layover in Frankfurt (I don’t believe in all the years and hundreds of thousands of miles Brenda and I have traveled we’ve ever had a 6 hour layover anywhere). So we had plenty of time to find Doris and get Brenda booked on a flight to Vienna. The miracles continue, because United booked Brenda on Austrian Air, and United said it takes 24 hours before the booking will show up in Austrian Airline’s records (12 if they do a special rush), yet her Brenda’s flight was in less than 3 hours. Brenda found a United rep in Frankfurt who took her passport and walked to Austrian Airlines for her boarding pass, while I found a service director in the US to provide the United ticket number…bottom line, Brenda’s now on a plane to Vienna and will be with Doris in the next few hours!
So let’s end with a little bit of the comical story of how we tracked Doris down. All Doris’s text messages to Gerry indicated was that she was in Austria. Since we knew it was a major hospital, we figured it had to be either Vienna or Salzburg. I contacted Ariane who started calling Austrian directory assistance. In case you’re wondering, there are 5 Moshl’s in Austria besides Doris. Meanwhile, I’m searching through my email from December of 2006 looking for an email saying where her parents live…got it…Laimbach. I email the info to Ariane…too bad there are no Moshl’s in Laimbach, where Doris’s parents live…strike one. So Ariane decides to see how many hospitals there are in Vienna…after all, how many can there be?!?!?!? Well, the answer…43! So Ariane dutifully starts calling them. 1, no Doris…2, no Doris…3, no Doris…you get the picture. After calling 7, she emails me and indicates this could take a while. Having visited Doris in her home town in February 2007, I finally remember her friend’s name is Sabine (of course, I don’t remember her last name…hey, we’re lucky I got her first name), and she owns a gausthaus in Laimbach, in fact, the only gausthaus in Laimbach…now we’re getting somewhere. Another email to Ariane, so she calls directory assistance in Austria again. I would have loved to be on that call…could you give me the number for Sabine’s gausthaus in Laimbach? Sabine’s last name?…sorry, I don’t have it…the name of the gausthaus?...sorry, I don’t have that either. Anyway, somehow Ariane gets the phone number for the gausthaus. She calls there and they forward the call to Sabine who is in Vienna, who is able to provide all of the information.
OK, so now you have WAAAY more info than you wanted. Anyway, I’ll keep you posted as I get updates from Brenda. By the way, if you have any spare/scrap warm healing thoughts left after all of the above, I’d be ever so appreciative if you’d send them Brenda’s way. She’s been on the road for almost 6 weeks (Fiji, LA, Australia, Dubai), so I’m guessing she may be a wee bit tuckered out, and she would benefit greatly in supporting Doris if you’d send those leftover positive thoughts and prayers her way. I know I have a HUGE bias, and I can’t think of anyone I’D rather have supporting me if I was getting back on the road to full, complete, and vibrant health than my beautiful wife Brenda.
It’s after 4 am in Chicago, so I’m going to go and get a couple of hours sleep. Will provide updates as I receive them from Brenda. Remember to keep those loving and healing thoughts, prayers, and visualizations streaming Doris’s way…she’ll be completely healed before you know it!
God Bless you and love to you all,
Tad

Dear and Powerful Trainer Friends:
The Eagle has landed!!!! Brenda just arrived at Doris’s bedside and called me immediately. Expectedly, Brenda’s unexpected arrival at the hospital put a huge smile on Doris’s face. Lest anyone doubt the power and strength of the trainer body (and I know hundreds, perhaps even thousands that we enlisted to support Doris from around the world), Doris said the last 6 hours have been miraculous. She could literally feel our love envelope her in her hours of darkest need…when she needed us most, we all came through in a huge way! We created a tidal wave of love and healing that no flesh eating bacteria was a match for J! She is feeling MUCH better now, and was actually in great spirits when she spoke to me on the phone. A miraculous turnaround from a few short hours before when she literally did not know if she was going to live. At this point, Doris has caught up with all of us J, and now has certainty that her leg will be fine…and that she will be fine as well!!!! We truly are an amazing family…I am honored and touched at my deepest core knowing I am a part of such a wonderful group of human beings. God bless all of us.
As you continue to send Doris loving, healing, and comforting thoughts, prayers, and visualizations, (since I believe she’s going to still require reconstructive surgery on her leg) remember to take a few moments to acknowledge yourself for the beautiful, loving, caring, compassionate, powerful,____________,______________, ________________, and _________________ soul that you are (fill in the blanks with whatever words speak to your all knowing heart of your inner beauty and greatness). As long as we brought out the big guns of our thoughts, prayers, and visualizations, maybe even take a minute to spread some of the extra (because we have an infinite amount) around to all of the trainer body, to all of those we enlisted to help in our support of Doris, and of course, remember to thank God for the miracles He’s worked in Doris’s life over the last few hours, and the MANY miracles He’s worked, and will work in the future, in each of our lives.
Again, God bless all of you, and thank you for your greatness! I’m off to work…will provide additional news of Doris’s return to complete health J J!!!!
With love and thanks,
Tad

Here is the latest, straight from the horses…er, beautiful lady’s, mouth ;-)
I was able to locate Doris at the hospital without asking for assistance because of course she was talking :). As I saw her face I knew immediately the prayers and love from literally around the world were healing her foot.
Here's the update:
1) There is a vacuum compress stapled to her foot that is suctioning out the liquid and anything thing else that is not supposed to be in the foot. The areas in need of constant prayer are her entire right foot to include mid-way up her calf.
2). She is on heavy doses of multiple antibiotics three times a day. These tend to make her groggy and nauseas but appear to be doing the job.
3). She has improved tremendously in the last 9 hours; however she is not out of the woods. The good news is the doctor is fairly certain the foot has been saved.
4) The best outlook will be she will remain in the hospital for a minimum of two to three weeks on IV's and antibiotics. This will ensure the bacteria is all gone. Once that happens talk of reconstructive surgery will begin.
5). There is still heat in her leg. When the doctor takes a look in two days, as long as the bacteria has ceased to eat the flesh, he will not do any more surgery. Again, they really want to ensure the muscle continues to be healthy.
6). Also, please know how overwhelmed with gratitude Doris is with all the prayers, phone calls and e-mails. She does not have e-mail access; however, I have been reading them all to her from my BB. She will have a temporary computer set up in a few days. Maybe I can get her to start a blog.
7). Lastly, I will send another e-mail tomorrow with things Doris may need assistance with (for example her computer and items from her trip are in a train station locker in Madrid and she has the ticket to open the locker....sounds like a trainer stretch to me :) )!
Even through this challenging time she is still just as beautiful, full of smiles and laughter and doing her best to boss me around...again a good sign her body, mind and soul are all moving in the right direction.
Signing off until tomorrow,
Brenda and Doris

Sounds like there’s still some exciting and rewarding gifts yet to be shared…so keep those thoughts, prayers, and visualizations coming folks!
I’m including a note from Michael Morningstar (who’s having computer challenges) with some valuable ideas that I’ve already passed along to Brenda for Doris. It includes information that may prove helpful for all of us of at some future time:
Re; Doris foot challenge
Hello
I sent a message to Gerry and am having computer problems. Maybe you can get word to Doris to have her family buy some calcium bentonite clay (CBC). You mix the powder with water (1 part clay and 3 parts water) and apply the clay gel to the foot immediately. (It is 100% natural, also called French Green clay.) I have helped many people with lots of various health issues naturally heal with the clay. It is well known and documented in Europe and around the world for thousands of years. Trust and have faith, it does work. It has been documented in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, Biblical, and indigenous native cultures. Also the military around the world use it to decontaminate biological, chemical and nuclear.
It has specifically been used on flesh eating bacteria in Africa and documented by the WHO as a miracle. Also used and researched to treat MRSA and antibiotic resistant bacterial infections. Clay is naturally anti- viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and decontaminates chemicals, heavy metal, toxins and poisons. It works on spider bites, ant stings and bee stings. There are over 300,000 sites when you search google on calcium Bentonite clay
I helped Brenda Schinke when she had an infection and a week of antibiotics did not work. Amber Dotts also healed an infection with it. I have helped hundreds with it.
Next I would suggest tea tree oil or myrrh or frankincense essential oil (last two are in the bible as precious gifts to Christ child so you know they are as precious as gold).
Good Luck
Michael
Well, that’s all for today. I’ll keep everyone posted.
Love,
Tad
