Now for the you won't believe this unless you were here:
Anyone who is mobile has to get in line to be weighed in the a.m. There was a long line today. I was not in line.
I have been moved to a semi-private room and my roommate has had her right foot and some of her leg amputated.
Hmmm...is the universe telling me this could have been me or maybe it's saying focus girl, allow it in good or maybe I am supposed to speak up and say what the hell were you thinking.
The doctor-in-training doing my IV has done it wrong twice. It could be because she is 12. Now another aide has come in and corrected mine and my roommate's IV. I hope he follows her trail.
I am actually planning a training for the hospital staff or maybe I will just talk to TR about a UPW in Vienna.
More to come!
Doris

Hey Gorgeous! I just finished reading the entire saga and boy, am I happy the prayers from the team pulverized this flesh eating beast right out of your leg/foot! Prayers were answered and I am in awe, witnessing this new miracle. You are surrounded by so many angels, girl! You're one blessed soul! I'm lighting a candle for you on my healing table. I love you, Mimi
Hi Doris, Today I sat and read every word of your saga from beginning to end. Only you could get into such an adventure and come out smiling. You have always been an inspiration and now even more than ever. Next time, consider not feeding the wildlife. You are in my daily prayers and intentions. You have a lot of angels out here. Consider yourself hugged from San Francisco. Much Love, Jan
Hi Doris from my Mom's hospital room @ Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR/USA - Wow! My thoughts & prayers are with you -what an experience you have had and are having --I just shared your picture from your hospital room with her - she is in hospital too--has been for 3 weeks, started with a stomach virus, got pneumonia, had 1 week of rehab, fell & broke her hip after 1 hour at home because she was so drugged,, back to the hospital for surgery and now has congestive heart failure - like you, though, she is going to "kick ass" soon, get her strenght back and walk again @ 87 years young. Your picture brought a big smile to her face as we compared your hospital room with hers, she loved your stuffed animal too and wants me to get her one.. I told her about you, your hiking adventure, your strenght, your great wit, your awesome attitude, and how much fun you have each day. Thank you for sharing your picture, your experience & your progress. We are praying for you a very speedy recovery and a "kick ass" leadership event!
Big Big Big Hug! RuthAnn
