This is a sample of the emails that went out initially... how anyone knew anything was happening....

Doris is seriously ill in hospital in Austria, and as I send this email at 12.15am Tuesday morning UK time which is 1.15am Austrian time she is under-going surgery to prevent her losing her foot.
You may or may not know that Doris was on a Hiking Pilgrimage in Spain which came to an early and unpleasant end.Due to a bug or spider bite, her foot got infected
Doris sent me an email at 5.38am on Monday morning which stated:
“The infection was very rare and put me in a life threatening situation I was 4 days in a Spanish Hospital in semi intensive care after I had been under surgery.The Air Ambulance got me home (to Austria) Sunday and I had to have another operation immediately to clean the infected part. I will be transferred today [Sunday] into another hospital.There they will hopefully cure the infection and start with reconstruction surgeries.But I will still be in intensive care for some days. Please include me in your prayers.”
I have sent Doris text messages throughout today [Monday], to find out how things are with her and I asked her for the address of the hospital she is in.
She did not reply to my earlier text messages but she did send me an urgent text message at 9.42pm tonight Monday to say:
“I will get surgery again because they are fearful that I might lose my foot. Treatment will start at 1.0am. Please pray for me because they said it’s still very bad and I am very fearful”
My friends, I sincerely ask you, your families and friends to pray for Doris especially at this time as she is going through a very difficult and fearful time and please send her lots of healing energy.
Then from Arianne and Pam late on Monday night....
Doris just called me from her cell phone. She’s having nurses attend to her now. I asked her how we could all send our love to her and she said she is able to get text messages. She got Marshonda’s and Georgette’s. She’s not sure she’s getting all of them.
She also said the only way to reach her was via her phone as she won’t have access to her email for awhile. If she doesn’t pick up her phone, send her a voicemail that will make her smile and laugh. She needs our support as this is scary. She can do this, and she needs lots of prayer, support, and love – the kind we are famous for.

What a amazing experience, to read all these emails, hear tales of people flying here and there, of feeling all the love and kindness spinning around Doris, and Tad, Brenda, and Gerry, and.....
Thank you all so much for who you are - know that far away in Oz, we are sending all of you, especially our dear freind Doris, all our love, prayers and healing energy. Thank you to everyone for allowing us to be a part of this amazing family; and mostly, thank you to God for the incredible work she does in this world.
